Kanye West’s Application To Patent “Sunday Service” Rejected

American rapper, Kanye West applied for the exclusive ownership of the name “Sunday Service” so it can get featured on his brand’s dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks, and tops.

However, Kanye West’s move to trademark “Sunday Service” has been shut down as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office rejected his application to register the name because someone else has already claimed its ownership.

The officials at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office claimed a man had already registered the name in 2015.

However, Kanye still has the option to fight USPTO’s decision before the application is abandoned.

Kanye’s Sunday Service program has grown significantly over the past few months and has been hosted in towns and cities across the U.S., including Chicago, D.C., Detroit, Dayton, Ohio, Salt Lake City, and Cody, Wyoming.
